The Vodafone Comedy Festival kicked off last night in the Iveagh gardens where over four days and nights it will amuse and entertain 20,000 souls looking got a laugh.
Running over a total of 45 shows there are sidebar attractions of music, drink and food all of which are adding to the gaiety.
The Iveagh Gardens’ central location is hard to beat and the hidden gem, originally constructed in the mid 19th century is a real summer staple.
Vodafone are front and centre stage as sponsors and were active last night on social media as they will be throughout the Festival.
It comes at a perfect time for the brand this year in between their heavyweight #TeamofUs campaign and around the Guinness Six Nations and the Rugby World Cup.
Nine Irish Comedy Clubs have been invited to host shows, spreading the love for comedy that will sustain the festival which is now in its 13th year.
