The Summer Series at Trinity College Dublin is to return in 2018 with a series of high profile concerts on the city centre campus between July 23rd and 29th.

The series opens on July 23rd with singer, songwriter, supermodel, producer, actress and icon Grace Jones supported by Wyvern Lingo.

Classical crossover stars Il Divo take to the stage with the Trinity Orchestra on July 24th.

Breakout star Rag’n’Bone Man performs on July 25th. His debut album has been a huge hit worldwide and contains the global smash ‘Human’ selling nearly 4 million copies.

On Friday, July 27th Bryan Ferry takes to the stage performing greatest hits from his massive back catalogue.

Gavin James will headline The Series on Saturday 28th. James has performed to over 3 million people in a meteoric early stage to his career.

Imelda May will close the series on Sunday, July 29th.

Trinity Provost Patrick Prendergast welcomed the concert series saying that “When we have the opportunity to make money from events, we do need to do it.”

“Every University is doing it, and this is generating revenue we can use for academic purposes.”

The concerts are being promoted by MCD who also manage the famous Trinity Ball that takes place on the College Grounds.
