Three has introduced the second collaboration of the ‘Made By Music’ initiative with three of Ireland’s top female musicians, who have just dropped a brand-new and unique collaboration.

“Butterflies”, performed by pop star Soulé, electro-producer Elaine Mai and singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson is available to stream now across all major platforms, accompanied by a world class music video which you can view below.

“Butterflies” combines each artists unique sounds and talents and looks set to become one of the smash hits of the summer.

Written and recorded by all three artists in Diffusion Lab in Dublin, the song showcases some of the best up & coming female musical talent bursting through the Irish music industry.

The official video for “Butterflies”, out now on YouTube, was directed by London based director Ali Kurr further exploring human connections to the soulful pop beat of the track, set to the backdrop of a surreal world devoid of touch.

Three’s ‘Made By Music’ initiative offers a unique opportunity to artists within Ireland’s thriving music scene to reach wider audiences by coming together to create unique collaborative songs as well as developing and funding a full media campaign to support both the track and video.

“It was so exciting to have the opportunity to collaborate on a project like this,” said Soulé.

“We made ‘Butterflies’ in a studio in the heart of Dublin city, after a couple of days writing together and sharing ideas. It’s a song about falling in love and feels like the perfect meeting place between each of our different styles and tastes as artists and writers. We’re really proud of the song and so excited to see it released into the world.”

“We are so excited to release the second track in our ‘Made By Music’ initiative,” said Aislinn O’Connor, Head of Brand and Marketing Communications at Three Ireland.

“Butterflies” not only showcases the incredible connection musicians can make when brought together but also celebrates the amazing female artists within our music industry.”

“‘Made By Music’ has always strived to showcase the strength and diversity the Irish music scene has to offer and we look forward to seeing the release of the next phase in this year’s initiative.”

The first collaboration in the series brought together renowned Irish artist David Kitt, singer-songwriter Kean Kavanagh and future-afro soul vocalist Fehdah to release the anthemic “Follow the Sound”. Since its release, the song has gone on to reach 50k Spotify streams and thousands of views on YouTube.
