We had a great night for The Social Dimension last night at Verve’s HQ in Dublin.

There was a great blend of agencies, brands, venues and promoters, exactly the kind of group which Entertainment for Business has been established to provide for.

Special thanks to Stephen O’Leary from Olytico who gave us ten key themes to emerge from last year and to look to for this; to John Kilcullen from Verve who brought us into the world of Dark Social and made it a little bit lighter; and to Jenni Lawlor from Aiken Promotions and Clara Killen from the SSE Arena in Belfast who brought to life the ways in which promoters, venues and artists work together in the realm of social.

There was plenty of chat before and after and we take our hats off to Ronan, Stephen and Ellie in particular at Verve who made us all feel so welcome.

This was the first of our bigger events and we will be revealing a few more over the coming months in next week’s Entertainment for Business digests.

They’ll kick off on Tuesday with a first look back on some of the learnings from last night as well as all the news and views from the commercial world of Irish entertainment, in all its many forms.

Have a great weekend and we will see you online on Monday.
