The Spice Girls have announced details of a reunion tour in 2019 but as yet there are no dates confirmed for Ireland.

So far the dates that have been announced, inside the last hour include concerts in Manchester on 1st June, Coventry on 3rd June, Sunderland on 6th June, Edinburgh on 8th June, Bristol on 10th June and at Wembley Stadium in London on the 15th.

If Wembley is seen as a grand finale, with a potential crowd of over 80,000, then it would be more likely to have Dublin, Cork or Belfast dates in May but no confirmation one way or the other has yet been made.

Croke Park has so far got two dates booked for Westlife in early July but it is likely that a third concert will be held at Ireland’s biggest stadium.

Boucher Fields in Belfast could be another option having staged Ed Sheeran in 2018, or indeed Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork.

Fans of the band, who will be reduced by one with ‘Posh’ declining the invite to join the reunion, will have a wait a little longer to see if an Irish date is on the cards…
