It would normally be the Bord Gais Energy Theatre you’d be looking to for a touch of West End glitz but throughout December the Round Room at the Mansion House has been putting on a specially commisioned show that has been playing to corporate functions and will be played one last time at a special New Years Ball.

The Golden Era is written, choreographed and performed by Louise Bowden who returned to Dublin in 2016 after more than a decade on the London West End Stage in productions of We Will Rock You, Singin’ in the Rain, Guys and Dolls and White Christmas.

Bowden is a graduate of the Billy Barry Stage School and became the first non family member to teach there when she came back to Dublin last year.

‘The Golden Era’ show is designed to transport guests back in time with iconic music and performances straight off the silver screen.

Throughout 2018 we will be looking at the many different ways that business can use theatre and entertainment in pursuit of business goals whether through hospitality, sponsorship or staff engagement events.
