St. Patrick himself took a break from the celebrations this week to announce Renault Ireland as the official car partner of the National St. Patrick’s Festival 2019.

This year’s festival got underway yesterday and will run through to Monday with the highlight the Parades taking place all around the country on St P{atrick’s day itself on Sunday.

Over 500,000 are expected to line the streets of Dublin alone for the Festival Parade.

Renault announced in 2018 it will be the official car partner of the St Patrick’s Festival for three years.

As part of its involvement, Renault will show you don’t have to be a saint to go green as the 100% electric Renault ZOE makes its way through the capital during the parade. The popular Renault KADJAR SUV will also be included in the parade.

The overall theme of this year’s St. Patrick’s Festival is Storytelling, an age-old Irish tradition, and a programme of more than 50 events inspired by all things Storytelling is running throughout Dublin over the five days including talks, walks, spoken word, literature, music, Irish language, visual art, photography, circus and more.

New for 2019 is a three-day Festival Village at Merrion Square, running Saturday through Monday.

Renault Ireland’s theme for 2019 is ‘Go Green with the Renault ZOE’.
