Having just played host to U2 the SSE Arena in Belfast has announced that the 2019 Peace proms will take place at the venue on Sunday, 25th February.
The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland will perform with the Belfast Children’s Peace Choir which is made up of 3,500 Primary School children from all over Northern Ireland.
Peace Proms is an internationally recognized Arts and Peace initiative, which actively engages over 30,000 school children in Ireland and the UK and is run totally on a not-for-profit basis.
It is backed by support from the Irish Government and the Goodman Foundation. It also has a number of sponsorship options listed on its website ranging from contributions of €1,500 up to becoming a benefactor at a cost north of €20,000.
Concerts will also be taking place in Dublin at the RDS Arena, Liverpool, Waterford at the Waterford Institute of Technology Arena and Limerick at the University of Limerick in February and early March.
