The Curragh racecourse in Kildare has announced a series of music nights entitled “Summer Sounds at the Curragh” to take place this summer.

There will be three concerts, taking place after three Friday night race meetings, kicking off on June 8th with Seo Linn.

2FM DJ Bláthnaid Treacy will headline the second event with details of the third to be announced at a later date.

The Curragh has partnered with Maximum Media and Studio One for the summer series. Studio One, Kildare’s newest venue are offering complimentary admission to the venue after racing to all admission ticket holders and there will also be a shuttle service provider after racing.

Music will take place after racing and a wide variety of hospitality packages are available to suit groups and individuals including a €29 “summer sounds package” which as well as a food offering includes admission to the racing and concert.
The Curragh is a 40-minute drive from Dublin home to all five if Irish racing’s Classics including the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.

“We are delighted to enhance our Friday nights with the addition of some great Irish music acts to complement the great racing,” said Derek McGrath CEO of the Curragh.

” We are sure that these evenings will be a great hit with the local community, corporate and social groups and individuals alike.”

Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin is home to a popular summer series of Concerts supported by Bulmers.
