Longitude’s weekend didn’t get off to a great start when the US Embassy issued a warning to citizens not to attend because of the threat of violence.

By that time though trying to persuade the largely teen audience they were going to be anywhere else for the weekend was probably a forlorn hope and so they packed Marley Park.

The rain fell and the sun shone in equal measure but by most standards, it was deemed to be a big success.

From a commercial point of view, there was a lot of activation going on from brands like Three, Coca Cola and Heineken, all members of the Entertainment for Business Family, as well as from Lifestyle Sports who we work with on the Sports side and who were on site this year for the first time.
