Londis is backing the seventh series of Ireland’s Fittest Family and will activate the deal with a number of local community initiatives around the country.

The overall investment is believed to be in the region of €500,000.

The sponsorship deal was brokered by Core Sponsorship and Zenith Ireland and includes exclusive Londis TV and online stings throughout the series on RTE, RTE +1 and RTE player.

The new campaign will highlight Londis approach to being ‘Local Like You’ and will include a hefty digital element as well as in store point of sale.

The popular show was originally created by Wexford Hurling Manager and coach on the show Davy Fitzgerald.

He will be back on screen again when the show returns on October 27th along with Mairead Ronan, Derval O’Rourke, Anna Geary and Donncha O’Callaghan. O’Callaghan began his new role of co presenter of RTÉ 2FM’s Game On sports show this week.
