Lidl is to be the new sponsor of Sean Moncrieff’s ‘Movies & Booze’ afternoon segment on Newstalk.

The partnership will include weekly brand mentions and a unique experiential tasting experience with customers at monthly in-store roadshows.

The initial deal is for a period of six months with an option to extend.

Lidl has been recognised as among Ireland’s most imaginative and successful sponsors through its partnership with ladies Football and was also the brand that topped and tailed each episode of the recent run of Gogglebox on Virgin One.
