Virgin Media’s drama Blood airs its final episode tonight but the station is hoping it is only the end of the beginning.

The series has proved a hit with audiences with over 300,000 viewers tuning in on average to each episode so far across all viewing platforms.

In a first for an Irish drama series in the UK, Channel 5 will air Blood from next Monday 19th November at in the prime time slot of 9 PM running across the whole week at the same time.

Presales have already been made through Acorn Media for broadcast in the US and Canada and it is expected that further international sales will be announced shortly.

The show was sponsored here by wine brand Casillero Del Diablo.
